About Us.

The Central Jersey Association of Builders (CJAB) is a community of professionals in the construction industry based in Central New Jersey.
What began as a simple WhatsApp group — created to help each other answer questions that came up on the job — has grown into a thriving network of over 800 members. Today, CJAB serves as a hub where builders, contractors, and other industry professionals can share knowledge, support one another, and strengthen the construction community.
Beyond networking, CJAB is committed to making a real impact. We have successfully lobbied for legislation that eases the inspection process in New Jersey, helping our members work more efficiently and with fewer delays.
We also host a Halacha Series with prominent local rabbanim, addressing real-world questions that arise in the construction industry. This ensures that our members can confidently serve their customers in full accordance with halacha.
And because relationships are the foundation of our industry, we organize events like our annual BBQ — a relaxed setting with great food, cold drinks, and good company — where members can put faces to names, network, and build lasting connections.
At CJAB, we’re more than just an association. We’re a community built by builders, for builders — working together to strengthen our industry, our values, and each other.
